Motor
The Nautilus T614 has a 2.75 CHP which can support speeds up to 12 MPH and create 5 minute mile pace. Compared to other types of motor such as Peak Duty and Treadmill Rated that you can meet when shopping for a treadmill, the CHP is always more durable and efficient. Even when running the tread belt, it is also much smoother.
Tread belt
The belt of this machine has 1-ply construction and 20-inches (W) x 55-inches (L) which is not too small and not too big. It is equipped with the company’s patented StrikeZone 4 Cell cushioning system for comfort and support and large 2.5” crowned rollers for a quiet and smooth workout.
Frame

Like the tread belt, this is another important part which needs to be covered by the warranty. If the frame breaks, the entire machine can’t operate. The frame on the Nautilus T614 is mainly constructed by molded steel that can withstand user weighing up to 300 lbs.
Programs
It comes with 22 programs to help you get your fitness goals. They include a manual program, three quick goals, three weight control, five training programs, three interval, five heart health and two custom programs.

Nautilus T614 Treadmill Review

Comfort
The tread belt on this Nautilus model is not as large as one of a commercial treadmill at a gym.
However, I haven’t felt uncomfortable whenever walking or running on it. In contrast, the Strike Zone 4 cell cushioning which is great for shock absorbing providing me with wonderful comfort for the smoothest run I have ever experienced before with my old machines. There is also a 3 speed fan to keep you cool during your running.
Convenience
Despite its heavy weight, it is also easy to set up. It took me only more than two hours to assemble this treadmill. This model is designed with a soft drop fold up deck for me to pull out to use and then return it back to store simply. I can move this machine easily after assembling thanks to transport wheels underneath.
Especially, when you want to switch up programs, you don’t need to break your workout because the things are featured on the grip bars at your arm’s reach will support you to do that.
Another convenient feature is Nautilus Connect which is connected to the internet to allow you to track of your workouts.
Besides, if you want to track your calorie and weight goals, you can also connect to myfitnesspal.com
Performance
It's a nice looking machine and is solid and sturdy. It also has a lot of programmed workouts that can be set up for multiple users. Perhaps because of its rather heavy weight, this treadmill can handle high speeds without wobbling.
Speed & Incline motors work well. Its motor operates very strong and smooth that always makes me feel believe in the quality of machine. I find the noise level of the machine to be acceptable. It’s neither excessively loud nor super quite.
Quality and Durability
The treadmill seems to be very sturdy with its weight about 200lbs. When it comes to the motor, the 2.75 horsepower isn’t the largest, however, it is the largest and the best type of motor we can find at this price range.
For tread belt, its only 1-ply is not the highest quality and not as durable as a 3-ply belt. But I haven’t seen any signs of tear and wear even when I have used it at least 4-5 times per week for several months.
Another part which I would like to mention to its quality is the frame. The molded steel frame of this model is not as thick as other more expensive models but it still has the highest quality in the comparison with other machine at the same price.
Warranty
You have to keep in mind that warranty is also a very important factor to consider when purchasing a treadmill. With this treadmill, I get 10-years warranty on the two most important parts the motor and the frame, 2-years on electronics and mechanical and 1-year on labor.
Although this warranty is not as good as of other more expensive treadmills, it is acceptable for its price. I hope that with a good quality combining a reasonable warranty policy, my machine can last longer than expected.

Use
As I mentioned, this model has 20”x 55” running surface which can be suitable for people with different sizes and heights. Moreover, the speed ranges from 0 to 12 MPH that can be used even for avid runners. And the adjustable incline ranges from 0 - 12 degrees, it is great for those who like a challenge.
Besides, this treadmill can be suitable for any space even for your office. In short, I would like to suggest the Nautilus T614 to people who are serious about their fitness regime and have bigger budgets.
Related:
Compared to other models
Compared to other models in its price range under $1000, overall, the Nautilus T614 Treadmill does rate high in important areas.
The Schwinn 830
It is considered as the most similar model to the Nautilus T614 because they have many same features such as a 2.75 CHP motor with 12% incline range and 12 mph belt speed as well as 55″L x 20″W running surface.
Besides, the Schwinn 830 also used 4 cells SoftTrak cushioning system to reduce the impact put on your foot when walking, jogging, and running as in Nautilus’s treadmill. In short, this is indeed a great replacement for Nautilus T614.
In case if you worry about the quality of this model, the Nautilus T616 - another model of Nautilus is highly recommended for you. In addition to a better warranty, this treadmill has a few extra upgrades compared to the T614 such as a 2 ply 2.0 mm thick belt, a chest strap, 0 to 15% incline, 3.0 CHP motor, 20-Inch x 60-Inch belt, 4 user profiles and a few extra programs.
All these features make it become more durable, smooth and quiet performance. Of course it is a little bit more expensive than the T614. Consider carefully and depend on your purposes to choose the suitable model.
Conclusion
you need to be a bit careful when looking for a quality treadmill at this price range. An inexpensive model often lacks certain quality standards. However, Nautilus T614 really provided with me enough necessary features for my regular home use at an unbeatable price.
