I have to agree with some reviews that Saucony doesn't offer the greatest styles and looks but in comfort and value it is 2th to none. The Cohesion 9 is very comfortable and feels broken in at first when I put it on thanks to the great cushioning system and its mesh and synthetic in the upper. In other words, the mesh and synthetic upper provides long-lasting comfort to the shoes. Its great comfort is ideal for an active lifestyle, even on long runs at an affordable price. I used to run a lot of miles on my last pair of Cohesion 8 with no problems and this 9th is just as good and comfortable with no pains at all.
Fit
These shoes come with good fit and there is no break-in period although some runners reflected that this is a bit narrower than the 7th and 8th versions. Its redesigned mesh and synthetic upper adjust to your foot easily for better fit. I have wide feet and ordered a half-size up, the fit was perfect as expected the first time I put my feet in them. The Cohesion 9 comes with different sizes for both men and women. It is better if you can try it at shoe stores before ordering online.
Support
I had a history of foot problems. I started wearing these when I developed plantar fasciitis. They give me an ample arch support without being bulky and heavy; and also support my feet well at the gym without pinching, sore spots or blisters. I haven't had any foot issues since I have worn these. Updated features and technologies used in the shoes are very essential in supporting your feet while running as well. Most of the sole of the Saucony Cohesion 9 is in contact with the ground so it is perfect for those with low arches.

In terms of pronation control, the cushioning and support of these are suitable for neutral runners. The only real negative is that they seem to be slightly less arch support compared to others, but using the inserts for more arch support can solve this.

It has plenty of cushioning. If you were a heavier runner and need good cushion without sacrificing performance, then I would highly recommend these shoes for you! Cushioning systems in Saucony Cohesion 9 are very helpful in providing comfort on the midsole and heel section together with wonderful experience when using the shoe. The non-visible Grid System is one of the features ensuring stable cushioning in the heel. It also has heel foam for improved comfort and better cushioning feeling around the heel area. The blown rubber feature in the outsole adds more cushioning to the shoes. Additionally, the EVA foam contributed to improve cushioning in the mid-sole of the Saucony Cohesion 9, which reduces impact during heel strike. However, these have a small downside, which is poor cushioning in the forefoot area.
